Many Realtors websites and social media proclaim Number 1 status, and "Best," and Top 1%, but sadly these claims are often misleading or outright untrue.

With me, you can trust that the advice (and stats) I give you are sincere, solid, and supportable through data. Some Realtors will tell a seller their home is worth significantly more than its actual value in an effort to "win" the listing. The seller ends up signing a listing agreement based on inflated valuation and false pretense, and then endures their home losing market appeal, taking longer to sell, and selling for less than they were led to believe.

There is an adage in real estate that says: "There is only one reason property does not sell, and that is if it is overpriced." I will never mislead home buyers or sellers as to what I think a property is worth.
4. Personal Network matters

One of the greatest value adds my clients have mentioned, is their gratitude for the expertise, speed, and convenience with which my skilled trade referrals served their home improvement and maintenance needs - both in preparing their properties to sell, AND being a resource for them at their next home.

I have a deep network of skilled contractors, electricians, plumbers, handymen, painters, and landscapers. Depending on renovation scope, I can also front the cost of some home improvements for a seller, to get their home ready to sell for top dollar. More importantly, I have a strong network with other top performing Real Estate Agents in MSP and those relationships are fruitful for harvesting off-market opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
5. Property ownership of multiple varieties matters

At minimum, a Real Estate Agent should be a homeowner, or have a history of homeownership. Why? Perspective. You want a Real Estate Agent who has experience with understanding the maintenance costs, and property improvements that yield the best return on investment. How can a Real Estate Agent that is a renter give credible insight?

Further, if you are interested in investing in real estate, do the Real Estate Agents you are considering working with own investment properties? If so, what kinds? Traditional rental homes? Apartment buildings? AirBnB/short term rentals? If they do, you can trust that their experience will benefit you in the search for viable, cash flowing investment property opportunities. I have gained expertise in these areas through my experience buying and operating all of the above property varieties.
6. Brokerage matters
